UnYoked Ministries exists to help Christians navigate divorce, heal from its aftermath, and rebuild a Christ-centered life with hope and purpose. Because these subjects involve faith, relationships, children, emotional pain, and major life decisions, we believe our content should be clear about who created it, what informs it, and what it can and cannot provide.
Who Creates and Oversees Our Content
UnYoked content is created or overseen by Todd Turner, founder of UnYoked Ministries and host of the UnYoked podcast. Todd draws from his own experience of divorce, biblical conviction, and years of conversations with Christians navigating marriage breakdown, recovery, singleness, and rebuilding.
Todd has more than 20 years of experience serving churches, ministries, and nonprofit organizations through digital strategy, technology, fundraising, communications, and leadership consulting. We do not present lived experience or ministry service as a substitute for licensed professional credentials.
What Informs Our Content
Our articles, books, podcasts, courses, and church resources are shaped by Scripture, Christian discipleship, lived experience, pastoral and ministry conversations, and practical recovery needs. When a subject involves differing Christian interpretations, we aim to acknowledge that faithful believers and churches may reach different conclusions.
Our theological foundation is explained further in our biblical view on divorce. We seek to communicate biblical conviction with compassion, humility, and honesty rather than using fear, shame, or promises of easy outcomes.
How We Develop and Review Resources
- We write for people, not search engines, and focus on questions Christians actually face.
- We identify the author or ministry responsible for published content.
- We connect readers to relevant Scripture, practical next steps, and related ministry resources when appropriate.
- We review important pages for clarity, accuracy, tone, broken links, and outdated information.
- We update published dates or modified dates when a resource receives a meaningful revision.
- We correct material errors when they are discovered.
Use of Technology and AI-Assisted Tools
UnYoked may use digital tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help organize research, prepare transcripts, edit wording, improve presentation, or maintain website content. These tools do not replace ministry judgment. UnYoked remains responsible for the content it publishes, including its accuracy, tone, biblical alignment, and correction when needed.
Ministry Boundaries
UnYoked Ministries provides Christian education, encouragement, discipleship resources, and peer-informed guidance. We do not provide legal advice, licensed counseling, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency services.
Readers should consult qualified local professionals for legal, financial, medical, mental-health, or safety concerns. Anyone facing immediate danger, abuse, self-harm, or another emergency should contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.
Financial and Promotional Transparency
UnYoked Living is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating publicly as UnYoked Ministries. The ministry may invite donations and offer books, courses, workbooks, or church resources that support its mission. When a page includes a purchase, donation, registration, or referral opportunity, we aim to make that purpose clear rather than disguising promotion as independent editorial advice.
Corrections and Updates
We welcome good-faith questions about accuracy, attribution, broken links, or unclear language. When a meaningful error is confirmed, we aim to correct the published resource and update it when appropriate. Readers can learn more about the ministry and its leadership on the Todd Turner founder page or continue with our Christian divorce recovery resources.
